OUR SERVICES

Initial Consultation

This is an initial meeting either face to face, via a web meeting or telephone conference with one of our Chartered Financial Planners where you will have the chance to ask questions and understand what we do. It is also an opportunity for us to find out what help you require and to discuss the options available to you. We will also provide you with information about our charges.

The initial consultation is at our expense and you will have no obligation to proceed at this stage, and no costs will have been incurred.

Engagement Letter

Following the initial consultation, we will write out to you to confirm our understanding of your situation and the service and advice we can provide. We will also confirm our charges for the work we propose to undertake. Should you decide to proceed we will ask you to formalise your permission for us to commence chargeable work for you by signing both the engagement letter and our our service charter

Research, Analysis and Direction

Once we have your agreement to proceed we will commence our initial research and analysis.

As part of our research we will gather information from you so we can understand your current situation and evaluate and identify your risk tolerance and capacity for loss. We will also gather information from your existing product provider(s) if necessary with regards to any existing policies or plans which require reviewing as part of our advice process.

Once we have this information to hand we will undertake the process of thoroughly analysing your current position based on our extensive knowledge of financial markets, and diligently research potential solutions for your needs.

We will then explain the choices and options available to you and discuss and prioritise your preferences at a direction meeting. Should we need to consult with any professional advisers or financial services providers with whom you have an agreement, we will ask for your express consent to do so.

Recommendation, Report and Implementation

Once we have discussed and prioritised your preferences at the direction meeting a full Financial Planning Report will be devised to paint a clear picture of your current position, and outline a clear and thoroughly researched recommendation for the solution we believe to be in your best interests, this will include if necessary the building of a portfolio tailored to your aims and objectives and within your desired risk tolerance.

We will arrange to meet with you to discuss our recommendations in full, and take you through our Report step-by-step. You are free to take the report away and give it due consideration before agreeing to move forward to the next stage.

Once you feel that you are in a position to make a fully informed decision to proceed, and you have given us your consent to do so, we will begin the process of implementing our recommendations. We will assist you in completing all of the relevant forms and ensuring your applications are processed by the relevant investment houses and providers in a timely manner.

Ongoing Services

Depending on the size and complexity of your portfolio once in place, you may or may not require ongoing management services. These services are optional, and once implemented, can be cancelled should our ongoing management services no longer be required. It is important to be aware that, in the absence of a specific agreement to provide you with ongoing services, your portfolio will not be monitored unless you contact us to ask for a specific service.

In addition, ongoing advice services ensure that developing any future financial objectives are taken into account. Furthermore, aspects of your financial arrangements can change over time, including your goals and risk profile as well as the underlying asset’s risk characteristics. Ongoing management service can help adapt and position your arrangements to manage such changes and influencing factors.

We will look to provide solutions that are reviewed on a regular basis ensuring that changes are made when necessary, enabling your portfolio to keep pace with the changing outlook for investments.

You will also have access to the ‘Anderson Brown Wealth Platform’ where you will be able to check out your asset valuations, risk profile and liabilities plus it has a library to store all of your important documents.
